How we use cookies

We use cookies for the purpose of providing the best possible user experience on our website. This includes understanding how our site is used and during the booking process to ensure your reservation preferences are maintained. We do not use cookies to deliver third party advertising or data gathering for third parties.

BOOKING PROCESS COOKIES

During the booking process (HOTEL ONLY) ‘permanent’ or ‘persistent cookies’ are stored on a user’s machine even after they have completed use of our on-line applications and closed their browser. They are only used to ensure your reservation preferences are maintained – the alternative types of ‘session’ cookies which exist for the length of the users session are also used for this purpose.

Our Software, Roomlynx Channel Manager, creates/seeks a persistent cookie, the cookie is used to retain some settings information – it contains no personally identifiable information and is not used for tracking purposes if cookies are disabled then the application will still function – this application is only used by hotel staff.

How to disable cookies

If you would like to disable the use of cookies in Internet Explorer (r), then follow the simple instructions below.

1. First click on TOOLS at the top of the screen, then click on INTERNET OPTIONS.

2. Click on the Privacy Tab.

3. Now click on the ADVANCED button.

4. You will now see the Advanced Privacy Settings dialogue box.

5. Select the Override Automatic Cookie Handling option.

7. You have three options for each type of cookie:

ACCEPT – accepts any cookies

BLOCK – blocks all cookies

PROMPT – asks you before storing a cookie

8. There is also a tick box to ‘Always allow session cookies‘; Session Cookies expire when you have finished your session on the website – typically needed to enable online booking and purchasing to function correctly.

9. Once you have made your selections, click the OK button.

What happens if I disable my cookies?
